Applications are now open for the National youth panel on civil protection topics
The platform to select the 29 volunteers for the panel session is online

The goal of the National youth panel on civil protection topics, established by the Department, is to engage the younger generation in organized civil protection volunteering and the activities of the National Service. The panel is responsible for assessing the needs of young people within the Civil Protection System and proposing innovative ideas and strategies to encourage their involvement.
To select the 29 volunteers for the panel session, the Department has created a dedicated platform for collecting applications, which can be accessed via this link.
This initiative is aimed at volunteers aged 16 to 28 who have not yet reached the age limit at the time of application. Applicants must be registered with a civil protection volunteer organization included in the National List. The application must be fully completed and accompanied by the following documents: a valid identity document; a letter of introduction on official letterhead from the local organization, municipal group, or national organization to which the volunteer belongs, signed by the president; the authorization from parents or legal guardians for volunteers who are minors, or from the support administrator for volunteers under support administration.
The deadline for submitting applications is midnight on March 22, 2025. A special committee will review and evaluate all applications, scoring each candidate based on their qualifications. Candidates who rank up to 60th place on the ranking list and anyone with the same score as the candidate in 60th place will be invited for an interview with the committee. The selection process results will be published on the Department's website.
