During the second meeting, the national warning system for hydrogeological and hydraulic risks was discussed

Secondo incontro Osservatorio buone pratiche: un momento di confronto tra i partecipanti

The Observatory on best practices in civil protection serves as a strong platform for collaboration, meetings, and knowledge sharing among stakeholders in the System. Its primary aim is to enhance accumulated experience and promote effective risk management solutions.

The discussion commenced on June 30, 2025, with a dedicated working day for municipalities, provinces, and metropolitan cities.

A second round of discussions took place on July 7, 2025, also at the Civil Protection headquarters. This session involved regions and autonomous provinces, along with representatives from the Italian Red Cross, Eni, Anas, and the FS Group, who showcased best practices in civil protection related to the national warning system for hydrogeological and hydraulic risks.

In both sessions, the debate centred on best practices, defined as concrete experiences that effectively address the specific needs of the territories. These meetings aim to establish a shared foundation of knowledge and experience, while enhancing the National Civil Protection Service's response capacity to ensure increasingly effective interventions.

The Observatory continues to serve as a tool for the System's growth, emphasising a collaborative approach centred on learning and ongoing improvement.
