The Technical Document "The Information to the Population for the Scenarios Envisaged in the National Plan for the Management of Radiological and Nuclear Emergencies" gathers the useful contents to deliver to the population with reference to what is envisaged in the "National Plan for the Management of Radiological and Nuclear Emergencies."

The Technical Document "The Information to the Population for the Scenarios Envisaged in the National Plan for the Management of Radiological and Nuclear Emergencies" collects the useful contents to be provided to the population with reference to what is provided in the "National Plan for Radiological and Nuclear Emergency Management."

It has been prepared in compliance with Article 197 (paragraph 1) of the Legislative Decree 101/2020, which implements the EU Directive 2013/59/EURATOM on protection from ionizing radiation, in accordance with the directions contained in Annex XXXIV of the same Legislative Decree.

In particular, the texts are prepared by the Civil Protection Department, which availed itself of the work of the Committee for Information to the Population on Safety Concerning Protection Against Dangers Arising from Exposure to Ionizing Radiation provided for in paragraph 1 of Article 197, of Legislative Decree 101/2020, with the contribution of the Technical Scientific Committee, provided for in paragraph 4 of the Article 197.
